Growing relationships in a thoughtful community . . .
I have developed an abiding appreciation for experiential and academically rigorous learning. I am a naturally curious person. I am continuing a path of life-long learning by immersing myself in a liberal arts college community. I am drawn to a liberal arts experience because it provides a holistic learning opportunity. In several respects, my undergraduate liberal arts education was a logical progression from my earlier Waldorf education. Inside and beyond the classroom, I learn more when I am surrounded by peers who think and learn differently than me. In fact, I believe that learning happens most effectively in a diverse, open-minded ecosystem. Moreover, these relationships have prepared me to think globally and to be a thoughtful, intentional person. I appreciate working closely with college staff, coaches, and professors, discussing topics beyond my areas of specific interest, learning with my peers, and diving into projects which are inspired by my own creativity.
