(he, his, him)

I am a College of Wooster communication studies and history double major. I have an eclectic array of interests that sweep across sports, the arts, community service, and entrepreneurship. I am a graduate and mentor of the Student Leadership Institute and work internships in three departments at The College of Wooster - Athletic Communications, Admissions, and Marketing. As a staff sportswriter for The Wooster Voice, I provide primary coverage for football, men’s basketball, and several other collegiate sports. I also serve as the public address announcer for Wooster football, women’s basketball, volleyball, and women’s lacrosse. I sing in the award-winning Wooster Chorus. I have been recognized for my relentless pursuit of excellence, including the NCAA and academic honors societies.

My early formative education was steeped in the experiential and academically rigorous model of a Waldorf education. My higher education has furthered this emphasis on seeking unique possibilities to explore diverse interests. History is one of my favorite areas of study. Exploring history helps us learn about ways to improve humanity’s future. Furthermore, my coursework in communication studies exposes me to the important conceptual theories underlying interpersonal skills and engagement. This academic backdrop provides a strong foundation for my higher education career ambition of bridging the mission of academic learning with the spirit of intercollegiate athletics.
