I attribute my appreciation for art to my Waldorf education and summers spent at Lakeside Chautauqua. One of my pencil drawings was showcased at an art exhibit in Ann Arbor. Two of my paintings, Lonely Lemon and Self-Portrait, won first and second prize respectively at a juried art show. My favorite painting is Poultry Yard, c. 1668, by Melchior de Hondecoeter.
